The construction of the Jordan Gate Towers, a high class commercial and residential project also known informally as the 6th Circle Towers in Amman, Jordan, is expected to be ready within two years.

The project has been under construction since 2005. The needed plans and evaluations for the project were concluded in February 2022. In 2011, construction works for the project had halted due to financial disputes between the contractor and owner, however, Dr Yousef Shawarbeh, Mayor of the Greater Amman Municipality, confirmed that construction works will resume in mid-July this year.Â
The Mayor also confirmed that the municipality is a partner to the Jordan Gate Towers Project by 31% which amounts to well about JD 50 million. The project was designed by the late Palestinian-Jordanian architect, Ja’afar Tuqan and the total cost for the project is about $300 million
Jordan Gate Towers to be Tallest Structures in AmmanÂ
The Jordan Gate Towers Project features two towers, South and North. Each tower boasts a height of 43 floors accompanied by a three-story commercial centre situated between the two towers.
Safwan Al-Nasser, the General Manager of Al-Nasser Company revealed that 70% of the northern tower has been completed and will be dedicated for residential use as planned. On the other hand, and in addition to allocating well approximately 1.500 parking spaces for vehicles, the southern tower is dedicated for house hotel apartments as well as a hotel. The hotel will feature 200 rooms and will be operated by Hilton.Â
The Jordan Gate Towers Project boasts a total area of 222,000 square meters and is expected to become one of the tallest structures in Amman when completed. The multi-story podium featured in the project will include conference halls and a shopping mall alongside an array of restaurants.Â
