The project’s implementation is a result of a partnership agreement between Inara Capital and Jushi.

Inara Capital is a leading renewable energy company. Additionally, it is one of the economic zone’s partners in green hydrogen projects. On the other hand, China Jushi Co. Ltd is a division of China National Building Material Co. Ltd.

Upon completion, the Jushi production facility rooftop solar power plant will have a production capacity of 10 GW/h in a year.

Currently, great efforts are being made by the country’s ministry in coordination with various authorities to implement the country’s electricity sector strategy. Therefore, the Jushi production facility rooftop solar power plant will be very significant. Particularly, it will help Egypt achieve the 42% target of energy production from renewable sources by 2035.

The head of the Suez Canal Economic Zone gave insight into the Jushi production facility’s rooftop solar power plant. Walid Gamal El-Din said that the project aligns superbly with the plan of the Suez Canal Economic Zone. This plan is to localize industries that are dealing with renewable energy.Â
