“Building a better future for Africa” this Big 5 South African contracting firm has two large-scale, heavy civil contracts in Kenya, which are due to start construction later this year. They are looking to build their team of local Kenyan Professionals.
Part of their project deliverables will be to recruit, mentor, develop and train local talent. The positions that they are looking to fill include Site Agents, Foreman, Surveyors, Civil Engineers, Planners, Safety Officers and Site Administrators.
Suitable candidates ideally should have 3 to 6 years of experience in the construction environment, with a relevant technical qualification in Civil, Building, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or Safety Management. Experience in roads, civil, earthworks, rail or pipelines would be an added advantage. You may also be required to be away from home for lengthy periods of time and/or to be flexible to move to different sites, based on the project requirements.
