The construction of a university hospital center in Morocco has kicked off as the HM King Mohammed VI launched the urban projects of Tuesday at Urban commune of Gueznaya.
According to King Mohammed the project marks the significant will to make sure that the country has proper health promotion and the Kingdom remains health.
He added that the University Hospital Center in Morocco will be financed by the Qatari Fund for Development at a 2.33 billion-dirham and the fund is a token that was taken of the HM.
The king said his Kingdom is making sure that every citizen has the right to have access to health services, enshrined by the constitution, is a major pillar to consolidate citizenship and achieve integrated, lasting and comprehensive human development.
The project to be constructed in the kingdom reflects the central role granted by the Sovereign to the training of human resources in this vital sector and His determination to ensure quality training adapted to scientific and technological developments in treatment, prevention, management and health governance in accordance with international standards.
The 771-bed hospital will muster notably a “Mother-Child” division, a Medical-Surgical division, an operating room with 15 surgical rooms and a room for burnt cases, excellence centers (emergencies, trauma center), a central laboratory, a telemedicine unit, training services, a simulation center, and other administrative and technical dependencies.
