Plans underway for 2nd Landmark Properties’ student housing in California

Plans are underway for the development of Landmark Properties’ student housing in California. The development will be the second purpose-built student housing community near the University of Southern California.

This is according to Landmark Properties, a fully integrated real estate company. The company specializes in the planning, building, investment management, and maintenance of high-quality residential communities.

The 435-unit Landmark Properties’ student housing in California is 0.3 miles from the campus of The University of Southern California. It is expected to start construction by the end of 2023.

One of USC’s greatest ventures for specialized student housing will be the new residential neighborhood. Further, although the plans are still in the planning stages, Landmark expects to deliver more than 1500 beds by the fall of 2026.

Development of the Landmark Properties’ student housing in California

The land for the development of Landmark Properties’ student housing in California was bought from Ventus Company. The latter is a mixed-use development with offices in Orange County. The urban infill opportunity was the result of a lengthy and complex property assembling and entitlement procedure.

Scott Gale, CEO of Ventus Group said, “It is wonderful to be a vital part of something that is set to have significant influence. A project of this magnitude demands patience, persistence, and vision.”

The complex will provide a variety of floorplans, from studios to five-bedroom homes. When considering options among comparable flats, the thoughtful design of these units will stand out to potential residents. 87 apartments will be set aside in the development for those who have been classified as having low incomes or below.

Residents of the Landmark Properties’ student housing in California will have access to a clubhouse and other social amenities in a number of public spaces, particularly on the rooftop level next to a resort-style pool.

For convenience, the lounge, computer lab, and fitness center will all be open around the clock. With a grilling area and pool, the rooftop outdoor amenity spaces expand the possibilities for entertainment. The apartment complex will have nearly 20,000 square feet of retail space fronting Banc of California Stadium in addition to the full complement of amenities.
