On Monday, April 8, 2025, the Los Angeles Rams unveiled their ambitious vision for a giant new complex called “Rams Village.” In the Warner Center neighborhood of Woodland Hills, this enormous 100-acre development will include the team’s new headquarters, high-tech training facility, event spaces, office buildings, parklands and open space. It aims to introduce sport and entertainment into the heart of the San Fernando Valley, but also serve as a community center.
Designed by the architectural company Gensler, the centerpiece of Rams Village will be the training facility, which will cover over 350,000 square feet. The training facility will contain two full-sized grass fields already installed, along with another 150,000-square-foot indoor practice field. Seating capacity for up to 2,500 fans will be integrated into the indoor field, creating an elite training and event environment.
Alongside the headquarters, two indoor venues will provide even more entertainment options. One will accommodate 5,000 guests, and the other will have about half as many seats. Company executives anticipate these venues to transform the San Fernando Valley by offering a vast array of new entertainment options.
Cost
The Rams Village construction is estimated to take a decade or longer to complete and can cost as much as $10 billion. The complex is rendered futuristic and high-tech in appearance, with swooping, up-to-date architecture that inspires comparisons with SoFi Stadium. It is described as iconic in design, symbolizing the team’s commitment to innovation.
Sustainability is also an area of focus for the Rams village project. The overall development will be complemented with elements that are environmentally friendly, including solar power generation, stormwater retention and reuse, and LEED-certified standards across the entire project.
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass was delighted about the plans of the Rams and stated, “Los Angeles is very proud to welcome the Rams’ new home in the Valley, along with these major new plans and commitments that will benefit not just the San Fernando Valley, but the entire city.” According to her, this project would bring substantial economic benefits in the form of new jobs, housing, and entertainment facilities and actually transform the face of this region for the better.
