The implementation of the Lusail Museum projects’ technical development & museographic works has been completed.

The works were carried out by ACCIONA Cultura, a leading multidisciplinary company. ACCIONA offers creative, technological, and sustainable solutions for cultural, corporate, and leisure industries around the globe.

The company is also responsible for the Lusail Museum project management, fit-out, graphics, media productions, and showcases. It also undertook lighting, prototyping and testing, exhibition fabrication, object mounting, and maintenance.

Moreover, ACCIONA  is overseeing the assembly and dismantling of the exhibition which occupies a total area of 2,800 sqm. The exhibition features a total of six distinct spaces dubbed Delacroix’s Gaze, Uncovering Orientalism, Al-Hamidiyya Souq, and Cleopatra.

Lusail Museum to showcase world-class collections

Lusail Museum is located at the core of Doha at the Qatar Museums Gallery in Al Riwaq. The facility explores cultural interaction between the greater MENA region alongside its peripheries. These include Central and East Afrika, South and East Asia as well as Europe.

Once operational, the facility will showcase a world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artifacts, and media from antiquity to the 21st century. This was revealed by Daniel Orti, Acciona Cultura ME Director.

A total of 237 artifacts will be displayed at the exhibition. The artifacts include a large collection of paintings on canvas, jewelry, tapestries, costumes, and film props. Additionally, they will include books, manuscripts, photographs, decorated ceramics, glass, and metal.

Noteworthy, the artifacts are combined with almost 60 audiovisual and interactive resources that support the narrative. Moreover, the audiovisual and interactive resources will allow visitors to approach and interact with the objects.
