Monday Properties has partnered with Glenmont Capital Management to develop a 338 unit community dubbed The Willow in South Carolina. The developers recently broke ground on the project at a 20.3 acre site which they acquired last November in Charleston. According to the Monday, this will be its third multifamily development in Greater Charleston area.
Monday’s Senior V.P, Frank Craighill said The Willow will build on the success of company’s previously completed multifamily developments. In addition to The Mason and The Hudson, the new project will further expand the company’s footprint in Greater Charleston. Craighill is confident that their new project will deliver another firstclass property to meet the growing demand for accessible luxury.

Construction on The Willow will take place near a busy retail corridor located off Ashley Phosphate Road. Therefore the project’s location is about 2 miles from Interstate 26 and less than 7 miles from Charleston International Airport. Residents at this property will be exposed to to large employers such as Boeing and Daimier, who operate within the area. Additionally, they will also have access to nearby dining, retail and entertainment options.
Development plans for The Willow community
The Willow will feature five buildings and four of them will be three story garden apartments with stairs. The four buildings will accommodate 42 units each. While the last building will be a four story apartment building with an elevator, which consists of 170 units. The tallest building will include studio, one, two and three bedroom units, wrapped around porches in select units.
Additional amenities at the The Willow include a 7,000 squarefoot clubhouse working spaces and a 24hour fitness center. On top of that residents will also have access to a zero entry saltwater pool, lounge, and game room. The club house will also include a covered terrace overlooking the pool. Several outdoor facilities on the property include a pickleball court, multiple courtyards and a half-acre dog park. The developer expects the project to ready for occupancy by the first quarter of 2024.
