Development plans for the Lockhart 130 Industrial Park
Overall, the developer’s plan for Lockhart 130 Industrial Park includes four buildings, spanning across 650,000 square feet of space. This property sits less than 25 minutes from interstate 35, Interstate 30 and State Highway 130 loop.
Thereby, providing convenient access to the expanding Austin Metro area. Titan is currently building the first speculative building of the project at a 45.1-acre site.
Building 1 at Lockhart 130 Industrial Park will be a 167,794 square foot facility with a tilt up design. Additionally the facility provides warehousing amenities such as 36 dock doors, rear-load configuration, 32-foot clear height and 60-foot speed bay.
It’s location is also in close proximity to several major highways between Austin and San Antonio. Therefore, the industrial park will provide transit accessibility for future tenants. The developer expects this phase of the project to reach completion by the fourth quarter of 2023.
Titan’s Senior V.P, Joe Iannacone said his company was happy to partner with the city of Lockhart on the project. Iannacone pointed out that his company is based in Austin.
Therefore, he said they were already familiar with the industrial landscape for the Lockhart 130 Industrial Park’s site. Iannacone further stated that the project’s site has great future potential and would help meet the market demands of the region.
