A $174 million Manor Educational Facility Project will be developed in Manor’s Independent School District (Manor ISD) near Austin. Hoar Program Management LLC (HPM), has been selected as program manager for this new facility-based development in Manor ISD. All about the New Manor Educational Facility Project

The Manor Educational Facility Project will include the construction of new classrooms, an improvement to the transportation system, and the development of multipurpose facilities. Other projects covered by the passage of the bond include a new early college high school campus, elementary and middle schools, a performing arts center, and multipurpose sports facilities. Funds for technological improvements, repair of roofs, acquisition of new busses as well as a Manor ISD police station were all budgeted for in the bond.

According to the vice president of HPM’s program development, Greg Ellis, there has been massive growth in Manor in the past decade, necessitating the need for an improvement in the educational infrastructure to be able to support a student body that could grow to over 12,000 students within the next few years. He anticipates that on completion of this Manor Educational Facility Project, the community  will witness firsthand, the positive and lasting impact.

Dr. Andre D. Spencer, the Manor ISD Superintendent of Schools, expressed his gratitude to the Manor ISD community for voting to pass the 2019 bond. He pointed out that the Manor Educational Facility Project is aimed at developing new state of the art educational facilities that will address equity gaps, overcrowding and prepare for the continued population growth. Spencer added, “We are excited to work alongside HPM for this effort. HPM is truly a remarkable project management partner.”
