Stonemont Financial Group has plans of building a two-building industrial park dubbed Commerce Park 840 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. According to the developer’s recent announcement, this project will feature one of the few big-box buildings over 1 million-square-feet. Additionally, Stonemont also expects the project to generate hundreds of new jobs in Rutherford County.

Stonemont’s Senior V.P, Dusten Estes was grateful to the County officials who supported their vision for Commerce Park 840. Through their support, he said the project would now become a reality and help spur Murfreesboro’s next wave of economic growth. Estes also said the company’s ability to forge strong relationships and knowledge of Nashville’s market served them well in this project.

According to Estes, Stonemont has taken measures to ensure the project site is shovel ready by the new year. Therefore, Commerce Park 840 is likely to break ground by Q1 2023, with its delivery set for late Q1 2024. Other partners involved in the project include brokerage firm, Lee & Associate and civil engineer, Site Engineering Consultants, Inc. Meanwhile, Frampton Construction is serving as the project’s general contractor.

Construction on the Commerce Park 840 will take place at Sulphur Springs Road, a location which provides direct access to I-840. Furthermore, the industrial park is only about six miles from I-24 and a short drive to Nashville International Airport. Therefore, the project’s location offers transit accessibility, which is quite beneficial for future tenants.
