A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed for the construction of Tarboul Industrial City in Giza, Egypt. The MoU was signed between GV Development, one of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, and Egis. The latter is a leading global consulting, construction engineering, and operating firm.

GV developments Managing Director in Egypt, Sameh Atalla, and Egis Egypt Managing Director Sameh Atalla signed the agreement for their respective companies.

An insight into the Tarboul Industrial City in Giza and its aim

The development is in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030. It aims to develop a smart, liveable, and green industrial city. In addition, set within the heat of the country trade area, the project also aims to efficiently serve the purpose of sustainable production.

The development will span and spread through a total area of well over 109 million square meters.  It will feature a mix of modern services, administrative buildings, and industrial activities, alongside logistic facilities. Moreover, it will feature commercial outlets, social services as well as workforce housing.

Upon completion, the multi-core industrial city will include supply chains of renewable energy thus resulting in optimized energy consumption. Additionally, the project will result in the creation of a more diversified and competitive economy. 

Remarks on this milestone

Sameh Attalla explained that the partnership marks the beginning of a successful journey of collaborations. The Tarboul Industrial City MoU is reportedly a part of a framework partnership agreement between the two companies. The partnership cuts across a range of different real estate and hospitality projects and activities.

Moreover, the GV developments Managing Director in Egypt explained that the vision that the company has for the country’s future aligns with our ambition for creating solutions for a sustainable and green future on a global scale.

Egis specializes in construction engineering, consulting, and mobility services. Impressively, their design and operational methods feature intelligence as well as infrastructure.
