Development of the new Baptist training complex was recently completed and the structure is to be used as a training and practice facility by Miami Dolphins, a major league professional sports franchise in the state of Florida. 

Located close to the Hard Rock Stadium, in Miami Gardens, this sports complex is  designed to house an innovation hub, recovery and rehabilitation rooms, strength and conditioning chambers as well as review and meeting rooms, all of which are intended to make it into a world-class sports performance facility.

Stephen Ross, the owner, has financed the construction of the new Baptist Training Complex in Florida with about $135 million through a partnership with Baptist Health. Moss construction was signed up for the construction work, while the architectural aspect was handled by Rossetti, and Rockwell group was contracted for the interior designs.

The 217,200 square feet complex is  larger than the old Davie facility by over 50,000 square feet. About 125,000 square feet of the site  was designated for the training ground and 92,200 square feet was allotted for an indoor field. The doorway and the hallway are made up of a two-story space with a grand staircase. 

Built-in features of the Baptist Training Complex in Florida include locker rooms and a players lounge, with a barbershop, a state-of-the-art hydrotherapy area, an athletic training room with a large space for rehabilitation, a practice area outside with two natural grass fields, and a full indoor practice facility. 

Other advanced facilities in the complex include a dedicated recovery area with isolation tanks, cryotherapy and a two-story weight room with a cardio deck. The complex also comprises spectator seats that can accommodate up to 2,200 people, a dining hall as well as lush landscaping housing around 128 trees, 210 palms, and 16,00 flowers. In addition to the structural fitting of the complex, the Baptist Health Training facility is furnished with world-class technology and football systems. 

An industry-leading integrator, Diversified, designed and built the audio-visual systems installed in the auditorium, conference rooms, weight room, position classrooms, pitch house, and outdoor fields. The training facility also boasts of Verizon 5G ultra-wideband and an extreme network WI-FI 6 distribution all around.
