The scope of this project also covers the installation of several new bleachers and a new scoreboard, construction of a new playground, and resurfacing the basketball courts. In addition, new landscaping, fencing and overflow parking spaces are to be added along with sidewalks to provide connectivity throughout the park.

Mark Beaudreau, the Pompano Beach Recreation program director described the McNair Park as one of the major projects coming to fruition, which is a major boost for youth programs and highly beneficial  to the community. He also mentioned that he was ecstatic about the Cowboys having a synthetic turf to play on.

Beaudreau stated, “We are thrilled to see these projects underway and all three programs will be provided for. We will figure out all the logistics if and when there is a football season. We got through all the hurdles and everything is moving along. Kaufman Lynn Construction has been a great partner for our McNair project
