A Phoenix-based real estate firm, ViaWest Group has broken ground on Sight Logistics Park, a state-of-the-art industrial development in Arizona. The developer is working on converting a former Fortune 500 office building site into an industrial complex. As a result, the project has been designed to cater to the needs of a diverse group of industrial users.
Sight Logistics Park is being developed at a 17.97-acre site, which is the former global headquarters for Insight Enterprises. In order to move forward with the project, the developers had to demolish the office building which previously occupied the site. This demolition commenced in July and ViaWest expects the industrial complex to be completed by July of 2023.

Development plans for the Sight Logistics Park project
McCall & Associates designed the Sight Logistics Park project, situated at Harl Avenue along the I-10 corridor in Tempe. The new industrial complex will feature two buildings occupying a total of 356,904 square feet. However, the first industrial building will be a 155,717-square-foot structure, while the second one will occupy 201,187 square feet. They are both designed as Class A buildings which will contain several warehousing amenities to suit a variety of users. Some of these amenities include 33 dock-height floors and 4 drive-in doors. Willmeng Construction is the general contractor working on the project.
A ViaWest partner, Danny Swancey, said Sight Logistics Park would accommodate a variety of manufacturers, distributors, and general industrial users. Therefore, he was certain that the project would become a significant addition to the ViaWest Portfolio. Swancey was also pleased with the collaboration between VivaWest and the City of Tempe on the industrial project.
James Murphy, the CEO of Willmeng Construction also praised ViaWest for their commitment to the Sight Logistics Park development. He was impressed by their fortitude and creativity to circumvent and move forward, at times when others would have backed off. Murphy also mentioned that his team was excited to work on yet another innovative project in the City of Tempe.
