Vyne on Haven, a 200-unit transit-oriented apartment complex construction in downtown Elmhurst, Chicago, has officially begun. The project is led by Ryan Cos. The project will satisfy the unmet demand for TOD living in Chicago’s western suburbs. The completion date for the 6-story, 320,000-square-foot structure is 2024.
The unit sizes at Vyne on Haven will range from 600 to 1,500 square feet. They will include 40 studios, 103 one-bedroom and one-bedroom with dens. Additionally, there will be a total of 48 two-bedroom, and nine three-bedroom homes.

Vyne on Haven homes will be fitted with wood-style plank flooring, walk-in closets, and in-unit laundry. Moreover, the homes will have contemporary kitchens featuring quartz countertops. Furthermore, they will have tile backsplashes, islands, and energy-efficient stainless steel appliances. Some units will also include walk-out balconies and private rooftop decks.

Vyne on Haven development will have a 13,000-square-foot outdoor entertaining deck on the second level. The deck will be equipped with amenities such as a resort-style pool, dining areas, and grilling stations. These are in addition to outdoor heaters, and a secondary deck for resident relaxation.
Aditionally, the development will have a sixth-floor sky lounge with a fireplace, resident games, and a kitchen area for private parties. Moreover, the building will include two private phone rooms next to a kitchenette/café, and a fitness center. A club room, a coworking area, a conference room, and a terrace with views of downtown Chicago will also be included.
Lastly, a spacious outdoor dog run and a bike room with a repair station and space for 62 bicycles are available. Two levels of parking with 234 residential places will all be included in Vyne on Haven.
Noteworthy, the building will be close to a Metra train station, restaurants, and nightlife.

Ryan is the project’s developer, general contractor, and property manager. Ryan A+E Inc. created the 102 Haven Road structure.
The property will appeal to empty-nesters looking for a walkable lifestyle and young professionals wanting an easy commute to downtown Chicago. This is according to Toby Veit, vice president of real estate development for Ryan Cos.
