Construction issues
Construction of the building began back in 2001 after the project was contracted to a Chinese firm with help from the Public Works Ministry. Construction works then stalled due to lack of funds. Works were then re-started in early 2018 after the new government assumed power.
When fully complete, the single-storey building is expected to ease judicial officers and other ancillary staff accommodation woes.
