The Aberla Group subsidiary, Aberla M&E, has won a £20m contract for MEP at Viadux development in Central Manchester. The MEP tender package comprises a full mechanical & electrical system, apartment & commercial fit-outs, ventilation and fire/security on the Viadux development.

Domis Construction who recently have started working on site will be extending their partnership with Aberla. Viadux consists of residential properties, aquarium, spa, cinema and a 240,000 sq ft office workspace in a 14-story tower. The grade two listed arches, which rises above Deansgate Locks, will be fully conserved.

The chief executive officer at Aberla, Paul McCarren stated that the contract for MEP at Viadux development will be a challenge, but it will allow them to showcase the level of expertise and capabilities of the team. Aberla have partnered succesfully with Domis on several amazing projects over the last couple of years, but the Viadux’s will arguably be the most impressive so far. The director at Domis Construction, Kingsley Thornton also expressed their excitement on the Viadux project it’s one of the most complex to date. “It’s good we are working with trusted partners on schemes of this scale, so we will need Aberla’s engineering expertise to deliver the MEP,” said Kingsley. Viadux is offering a different feeling in the city and will be an addition to Aberla’s growing contract list wins in the UK.

Aberla is an energy and utility infrastructure company located in North West England and working across the UK. Apart from contract for MEP at Viadux development, the MEP specialists from North-West have completed several projects tenders in and around the region and have a contribution to over 2,000 apartments development in the Manchester property boom. The landmark £300m Viadux development work is now underway, and the tender has a protected completion of 2024 spring.
