The project generally involves the renewal and re-creation of Pangani Estate by way of providing dignified and affordable homes for residents of Nairobi in line with the Nairobi County and National Governments’ agenda four-pillar on affordable housing.
Constructed back in the I95Os, Pangani Estate accommodated 48 residents on a vast 5.2-acre property, but with the Public-Private Partnership developed Pangani Housing Project, the County Government aims to increase the number of units on this property to meet the growing demand for housing in the city citing the close proximity of the property to all key amenities.
Upon completion, the project will have 1582 units with mixed elements of amenities and facilities such as social hall, gymnasium, squash court clubhouse, children’s playing ground, beautifully landscaped gardens, a perimeter wall, manned gate, ample parking, high-speed elevators, commercial center, and a nursery school amongst others.
