STIHL to construct new warehouse and GB headquarters in Camberley

A new warehouse and GB headquarters for a global power tools firm, STIHL is set to be constructed by Midas Construction. The scheme will lead to creation of a 11,285m2 new purpose-designed amenity in Camberley, Surrey, off the A331. Midas Construction, a Southampton based Midas Group subsidiary, is set to start preparatory work for the project in December 2021.

The scheme entails creation of an automated industrial warehouse for storing machines and their spares with supporting office and workshop area, including a retail display space and staff amenities like canteen. New access road will also be developed to the site from the A331, as well as earthworks, associated parking and landscaping. The new warehouse and GB headquarters project is designed by architects Hale, having contemporary materials with crisp, modern and simple detailing, to offer a great quality appearance. Extensive landscaping will comprise creation of habitat and significant tree, wildflower and native shrub planting.
