JCB has designed its new compact track loaders, the 210T and 215T, to be small enough for work in confined spaces, but packed it with enough power for lifting a pallet of sod or brick.
The machines weigh less than 10,000 pounds each and have 74-horsepower JCB Diesel by Kohler engines that require no diesel particulate filter or diesel exhaust fluid.
The radial-lift 210T has a rated operating capacity of 1,900 pounds at 35% of tipping load and 2,650 pounds at 50%. The vertical-lift 215T has a rated operating capacity of 2,100 pounds at 35% tipping load and 3,000 pounds at 50%. An optional bolt-on chassis counterweight allows additional capacity.
Both machines can operate high-flow of attachments of up to 30 gallons per minute, the company says. They have JCB’s single boom design, which gives operators 60% more visibility than conventional twin-arm skid steer designs, the company says.
JCB also says it simplified the cab, added a wide-opening side door and made it 46% larger than CTLs of similar size.
