Skyjack has launched new range of telehandlers. The TH series, Tier IV Final telehandlers are designed and engineered to extend the principle of reliability that has made them the world leader in aerial work platforms (AWPs). The TH series is intended to replace the existing VR telehandlers series.

The new product comes with high complexity and low cost that normally is accompanied by a tier engine change. Amazingly, the pricing and the ROI focused clean sheet design, makes the range truly competitive and attractive for the rental industry.

According to Brad Boehler, the Skyjack President, compared with older models, the TH range offers simpler rear axle stabilization, hydraulics systems, outriggers, controls, engine servicing, electronics and option packages. The product also offers leading return on investment without compromising serviceability or ease of maintenance. The series has as well changed the name from VR to TH along with reliable guarantee.

Barry Greenaway, Skyjack’s product manager, said that, the TH range requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF), or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and when the product is provided with the standard engine treatment service no other active exhaust will be present.

The TH series employs 74-hp engines while delivering the same on-site job performance as higher power units and does not require the same complicated engine programming or computer logic of DEF equipped units instead it allows enhanced access for service and maintenance and the low profile engine for better visibility.

The new SJ1056 TH telehandler has the ability to take the same 10,000-lb. load to 44 ft. providing increased productivity and versatility over even most 12,000-lb. units. On the other hand, the TH series comes with 74-hp Deutz engines as standard and 107-hp Deutz engines as options on the SJ1044 TH and SJ1056 TH.

The TH series is expected to make its first public appearances at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas and at The Rental Show 2016 in Atlanta. All models will be in production by the end of 2015.
