The Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe has officially launched its new range of compact wheel loaders, models V7 and V8, in Germany. The launching was officiate at the company’s business partner company, HKL Baummaschinen.
The company also has its headquarters and manufacturing plant in Saint-Dizier, France.
The V7 model has a payload of 1,800kg and an operating weight of 4,100kg whereas the V8 has a payload of 2,100kg and an operating weight of 4,350kg. The height for both models is less than 2.5m.
The models also have a hydrostatic power unit that ensures traction and loading forces.
Additionally, they are available with an Inch-Break-Pedal. The pedal enables an adjustment of performance between the power unit and the working hydraulics. Using the Z-bar concept, it allows a high break-out force.
According to Yanmar, their special structure of the rear frame and the in-line engine mounted guarantee best access to all service and maintenance points.
The use of the models attachments are facilitated by a hydraulic quick coupler combined with the standard working hydraulics system making it easy for the operator to switch between standard bucket and pallet fork without leaving the cabin.
Hydraulic components are easily accessible through the Minimess checking points along. An articulated joint between the front and the rear frame combined with an oscillating rear axle offers very good stability while driving on uneven grounds.
Using a differential lock, the operator can optimise the traction force of the loader. However, lock is only available on the V8 model. The multifunctional joystick makes it easy to operate all driving and working modes simultaneously as the cabin’s big glass windows offers a 360-degree view.
