Oak Ridge Apartments – Comfortable and Serene
Cactus Developers Limited, a new entrant in Kenya’s up market property development, has set standards with an elegant residential project in Nairobi.

Within the 32 units, 16 are 2 bedroom ensuite, 12 are 3 bedroom ensuite with an adjacent DSQ, and finally the remaining 4 are 3 bedroom ensuite only.
A tour of the apartment complex one would clearly notice the architect’s clever use of every space available and the employment of large windows in each unit enhancing the room sizes.
Main features in each unit include; a spacious lounge with balcony fitted with parquet floors while the wet areas are fitted with ceramic tiles, a dining facility area, and an open kitchen with granite table tops, Pantry and a Kitchen yard. Each unit has a common cloak room. The Master bedrooms are ensuite and spacious.

According to the director of operations at Cactus Developers, Mr. Kevin Karuiru had the privilege of conducting the selection process in finding a good consulting team which was vigorous and competitive.
This resulted in putting together a top notch consulting team, overseen by the company directors. To date, the project team has continuously worked hard with the developers to reduce costs and met the project deadlines as it pertains to the project work schedule. It should be noted most developers can only do so much in terms of fittings since home buyers often make numerous adjustments to suit their tastes once they settle in.

However, as with every such project, various challenges have been encountered. To Mr. Kevin Karuiru, the sloping site necessitated a lot of excavation. Clearly the structural engineer and Architects had their work clearly cut out for them. They found a way to strategically position the four blocks taking account to parking space and landscaping on the one acre property.
