Adani's Share of the World’s Largest Khavda Renewable Energy Park in India

Adani Green Energy continues deployment at world’s largest Khavda Renewable Energy Park, where recent contractor awards and storage expansion plans speak for the execution momentum. In February 2026, KPI Green Energy secured new EPC orders for a 300 MW solar project, bringing its cumulative awarded capacity at Khavda from Adani entities to 834 MW AC/1,131 MW DC. These cover civil, electrical, mounting, and equipment works.

The broader Khavda Renewable Energy Park complex is designed as a 30 GW hybrid solar-wind mega-site, with 7.1 GW confirmed operational by Sept 2025. This figure continues to grow after government-backed developer NTPC recently brought 165 MW of solar generation online at Khavda-II solar project. Such continue to position Khavda as the world’s largest single-location renewable project and a cornerstone of Adani’s 50 GW capacity target.

Recent reports also indicate the company is scaling storage integration, planning over 7 GWh of battery capacity at Khavda to stabilize output and support the power grid.
