The Arab Contractors (AC), one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa, has been given a nod by the Algeria government to implement three major industrial zones in Algeria.
According to the Chief Executive of the Arab Contractors Ashraf Rateb, the company is implementing water utilities alongside other infrastructure works for the three major Algerian industrial zones at total cost of US$180 million.
However, the Egyptian company has clarified that the first and second phases of the industrial zones will be delivered in the next coming phase, with the entire works in the Algerian industrial zones project expected to be completed by end of 2017.
In addition to the three major industrial zones in Algeria, Arab Contractors is currently increasing its involvement in the African markets through more projects, preferably in areas of road and housing sectors
AC has signed a contract with the Algerian authorities worth around US$50-60 million for another mega housing project in the Algerian capital, with the aim to provide around 1500 units.
