Construction on the Mercedes-Benz Places hyper-tower by developer Binghatti in Downtown Dubai has advanced aggressively, reaching 65.25% completion following a comprehensive structural site audit. Vertical construction of the 341-meter, 65-story skyscraper has progressed well past its 52nd structural floor, with crews executing simultaneous mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) installations alongside the final upper-level concrete pours. The building’s iconic “Sensual Purity” aerodynamic facade, which mimics the design contours of Mercedes-Benz concept vehicles, is actively taking shape. This includes the integration of a massive 75,000-square-foot building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solar array engineered to generate clean energy dedicated to powering the tower’s 40 electric vehicle charging stations. The ultra-luxury project remains strictly on schedule to meet its targeted Q4 2026 completion and handover timeline.
Capitalizing on the strong global momentum and market reception of this flagship tower, Binghatti and Mercedes-Benz dramatically expanded their joint real estate footprint by officially launching Mercedes-Benz Places Binghatti City in Meydan (Nad Al Sheba). Unveiled as a monumental AED 30 billion ($8.2 billion) megaproject spanning over 10 million square feet, this master-planned urban ecosystem will scale their initial concept into a full “city within a city” comprised of 12 architecturally synchronized towers. While the original Downtown hyper-tower nears its final structural phases to deliver 150 private-pool suites by the end of the year, this newly launched master community represents the next generation of their partnership, blending automotive design DNA, autonomous transit shuttles, and luxury branded residences on a massive civic scale. The Mercedes Benz Places tower upon completion, will redefine Dubai’s skyline alongside other tower projects such as the Dubai Creek Tower.
