HUMAIN MIS data center development will deliver 250MW of planned AI infrastructure capacity across Saudi Arabia. MIS will design and build the facilities for HUMAIN under an expanded agreement signed on September 19, 2026. The program increases the original 50MW capacity by another 200MW. It will therefore create a fivefold increase in the capacity covered by the project.
The agreement has a value exceeding 689% of MIS’s 2025 revenue, including VAT. MIS reported approximately SAR1.27 billion in revenue during 2025. Consequently, the disclosed percentage indicates a value exceeding SAR8.77 billion. Reuters puts the equivalent value at approximately $2.33 billion.
However, the companies have not disclosed a fixed contract price. Therefore, $2.33 billion represents an implied value based on MIS’s reported revenue. It should not be treated as a separately announced lump-sum contract amount.
HUMAIN MIS data center construction gains 200MW additional capacity
The HUMAIN MIS data center agreement covers engineering, procurement and construction works for AI-focused facilities. MIS will execute the construction through work orders issued by HUMAIN. The work orders will establish the value, execution period and financial impact of individual packages.
The expanded scope follows an award letter received by MIS on August 25, 2026. That award increased the project scope from 50MW to 250MW. The additional scope covers data centers with a combined capacity of 200MW. MIS will implement the expanded project in phases.
The latest agreement replaces the contract announced by MIS on March 5, 2026. However, the replacement does not affect previously disclosed work, progress or financial impact. MIS previously expected financial benefits from that contract beginning in the second quarter of 2026.
Importantly, the new agreement does not mean MIS will immediately recognize the entire $2.33 billion. Instead, financial recognition will follow the sequential work orders issued by HUMAIN. MIS will announce material orders alongside their values and expected financial impact.
HUMAIN MIS data center supports Saudi Arabia’s hyper scale construction pipeline
The 250MW development forms part of Saudi Arabia’s wider effort to expand computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence. HUMAIN and the National Infrastructure Fund previously announced financing terms for up to 250MW. The January framework outlined up to $1.2 billion for AI and digital infrastructure projects.
The planned facilities will support AI training and inference using leading-edge graphics processing units. They will also support HUMAIN’s local, regional and international customers.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia continues developing infrastructure to support large-scale AI deployment. The country has attracted major technology partnerships around computing capacity and advanced AI applications. Government officials have also highlighted HUMAIN’s infrastructure as part of those efforts.
For construction, the MIS agreement creates a substantial pipeline of phased data center works. Such facilities require specialized electrical, cooling, networking and building infrastructure. However, specific construction schedules will depend on individual work orders from HUMAIN.
The agreement also strengthens MIS’s position within Saudi Arabia’s expanding digital infrastructure construction market. Nevertheless, the company has yet to disclose the value and duration of each future construction package.
The 250MW program also fits within HUMAIN’s broader data center ambitions. The company has previously pursued financing and development partnerships supporting hyperscale AI infrastructure. Therefore, the MIS program represents one significant construction component within Saudi Arabia’s expanding AI ecosystem.
The broader Saudi AI infrastructure pipeline also includes the planned NEOM and DataVolt 1.5GW AI data center in Oxagon, which provides further context on the scale of hyperscale computing infrastructure being developed in the Kingdom.
