The German beverage equipment manufacturer Krones AG, Neutraubling, Germany, will for the first time be represented with a stand of its own at the PROPAK EAST AFRICA in Nairobi, Kenya, from 17 to 19 March 2015.

Krones offers complete technical solutions for the water, juice, soft-drinks, beer and dairy-product industries, and together with the beverage producers in East Africa has already brought numerous projects to a successful completion, both as stand-alone solutions and as turnkey orders.

Opting for Krones is a particularly attractive proposition given the firm’s permanent presence in East Africa. From the Life Cycle Service Center (LCS Center) in Nairobi, which in mid-2014 relocated to modern new premises, Krones supplies its clients in the East African region with responsively can-do service, technical support and top-quality spare parts.

This close proximity to the customers enhances the availability and efficiency of the lines installed. For all users of Krones’ technology in East Africa, the firm’s subsidiary in Nairobi is also the contact point for training courses on the technology and electrics involved. This training programme communicates the very latest knowledge in reality-referenced instructional units.

Informations about developments of Krones

At the PROPAK EAST AFRICA,Krones will be spotlighting all its corporate capabilities in terms of process, filling and plastics technology, which have been developed so as to meet the beverage sector’s requirements to optimum effect. In the shape of FlexiFruit, for example, Krones has developed a predosing system that separates juice and fruit so rigorously that juices with fibres, fruit chunks, pulps or sacs can be bottled with maximised gentleness.

The Nitro Hot fill process from Krones, in its turn, ensures exceptionally cost-efficient, energy-economical hot-filling of PET containers. This technology enables bottles to be produced with a minimised weight, without the typical vacuum panels, and able to withstand filling temperatures of up to 90 degrees Celsius.

In the brewing industry, Krones has achieved equal mastery of “big” brewing technology and the production of specialty beers in small batches alike, thanks to its high-tech Steinecker brewhouses, their versatility epitomised by the modularised CombiCube B brewhouse, which is predestined for relatively small breweries with annual outputs of up to 250,000 hectolitres or large industrial-scale breweries who want to brew specialty beers in relatively small batches.
