Denholtz also said the project would welcome new residents to experience the best of Bound Brook and Somerset County.

Development plans for the Rail at Bound Brook community

The Rail at Bound Brook community offers a variety of units: studios, one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus dens, and two-bedrooms. These are designed for post-COVID living, with extra work-from-home space and outdoor balconies/terraces in select units. Additionally, the six-story building will feature an extensive amenities package. This includes an expansive courtyard with outdoor grills and seating, an indoor fitness and yoga studio, a game room, and bike storage. Construction on the project is set to reach completion by the third quarter of 2024.

Besides the Rail at Bound Brook project, the developers will also renovate a two-story Morecraft Building. This structure demarcates the apartment building from the entrance to the Brook Arts Center. Additionally, they agreed to make improvements to the exterior of the three multifamily residences on the east side of Hamilton Street. The multifamily residences are North of the apartment.
