The Aseer Region Development Project aims to achieve unprecedented, comprehensive, and sustainable growth for the southern region of the country. The project received an investment of over US$ 13bn, which will assist in developing tourist attractions around and on the peaks of the Aseer mountains. The project aims to turn the region of Aseer into an all-year-round world destination.
The Crown Prince had launched the Aseer Region Development Project strategy and announced that the strategy aimed to convert the Aseer region into a world-class tourist destination by 2030.

Aim for the Aseer Region Development
The Aseer Region Development Project strategy is projected to positively impact the economic and social prosperity of the Aseer region. The region itself is surrounded by rich culture and beauty of its nature, making the location ideal for the project and what it aims to accomplish.
The Crown Prince revealed that the project aims to cater to well over 10 million visitors from both within and outside the country. He also added that the project is motivated and underpinned by the natural assets that are present in the region. He said that the natural assets could be used to showcase the richness of cultural heritage.
He also highlighted the fact that the Aseer Region Development Project will not only contribute to putting the region on the world map of world-class destinations, but it will also create and provide new job opportunities as well as raise the quality of life, and improve the region’s basic infrastructure and services.
The Chairman of the Aseer Development Authority, Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz expressed his gratitude to the Crown Prince for his consistent support and deep interest in the Aseer region alongside its people.     Â
