1. First World HotelÂ
First World Hotel is the largest hotel in the world with a total of 7,351 rooms spread across 2 towers.
The 3-star hotel is a part of the First World Hotel & Plaza located at Resorts World Genting in Genting Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia. The hotel, shopping and entertainment complex is managed by First World Hotel, Resorts Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Genting Malaysia Berhad and Genting Group.
In addition to the hotel rooms, the plaza features a shopping centre that is home to a casino, retail and dining outlets. In addition, there is an Indoor Theme Park dubbed Skytropolis Funland and other attractions such as Snow World, Genting Bowl, Seni Kome Peng Heng, Big Top Video Games Park and the first Asian branch of virtual reality attraction The VOID.
First World Hotel was opened back in 2002.
2. The Venetian Las Vegas
The Venetian Las Vegas is the largest hotel in the USA and the second largest in the world.
Occupying the site of the old Sands Hotel, Venetian Las Vegas has over 7,000 rooms. In addition, the hotel features a total of 20,900 m2Â of gaming space, clubs and lounges and restaurants.
Furthermore, Venetian Las Vegas features 180,000 m2 of convention space, museums, a shopping mall, a child care centre, swimming pools, a wedding chapel, a showroom and theatres.

There is also an under-development sphere-shaped music and entertainment arena, known as Sphere at The Venetian Resort. The arena is expected to be operational before the end of 2023.

3. MGM Grand Las Vegas
With a total of 6,852 rooms, MGM Grand is the largest single hotel in the United States. It is the second-largest hotel in general in the North American country and the third-largest in the globe.
Owned by Vici Properties and operated by MGM Resorts International, the hotel is located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It features a total of five outdoor pools, rivers, and waterfalls that cover 6.6 acres.
In addition, there is a 380,000 square feet convention centre, the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the Grand Spa. Moreover, the hotel houses numerous shops, nightclubs, restaurants, and the largest casino in Clark County. The Casino occupies 171,500 square feet of area.
Furthermore, MGM Grand offers a wide range of dining options, luxurious spa facilities, multiple swimming pools, and a bustling nightlife scene, making it a popular destination for tourists and gamblers alike.
4. Abraj Al Bait
Also known as the Clock Towers, Abraj Al Bait is a government-owned complex of seven five-star skyscraper hotels in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The hotels in question are Makkah Clock Royal Tower-A Fairmont Hotel, Raffles Makkah Palace and Swissotel Makkah. The others are Swissotel Makkah Al Maqam, Pullman Zamzam Makkah and Movenpick Hotel and Residence Hajar Tower Makkah. Lastly, there is the Al Marwa Rayhaan Hotel by Rotana.
In total, the hotels have 6000 rooms making Abraj Al Bait the fourth largest hotel in the world. In addition to the hotels, the complex features restaurants, museums, residential apartments, and shopping centres. It also has a prayer area that can accommodate thousands of worshippers.
On the premises, there is a five-story shopping mall called the Abraj Al Bait Mall, along with a parking garage that can hold over a thousand vehicles.
5. The Londoner Macao
Owned by Las Vegas Sands this is an integrated 5-star hotel located on the Cotai Strip, Macau. It features four hotel towers the first of which consists of approximately 650 five-star rooms and suites under the Conrad brand. This tower also has approximately 600 London-themed suites, including 14 Suites by David Beckham.
The second tower comprises about 1,800 rooms and suites under the Sheraton brand while the third tower contains approximately 2,100 rooms and suites, also under the Sheraton brand. Lastly, the fourth hotel tower has about 400 rooms and suites under the St. Regis brand.
In total, the Londoner Macao has 5989 hotel rooms and it features approximately 351,000 square feet of gaming space and 369,000 square feet of meeting space. Additionally, there is a 1,701-seat theatre and about 525,000 square feet of retail space with more than 130 stores. This space is also home to more than 40 restaurants and food outlets featuring an international assortment of cuisines.
Before 2021, Londoner Macao was referred to as parcels Five and Six, and Sands Cotai Central.
6. The Izmailovo HotelÂ
This is the largest hotel in Europe with a total of 5000 rooms divided between four buildings. The buildings are Alpha, Beta, Vega and Gamma-Delta, located in the Izmaylovo District of Moscow, Russia.
Noteworthy, the 3- and 4-star hotel was the largest hotel in the world from 1980 to 1993. It remains popular among Russians and foreign guests offering restaurant service, resources to hold seminars, conferences and other events in its 16 conference halls.
The Izmailovo Hotel also has a showroom with a total floor area of 700 square meters and a specially equipped multipurpose open space for open-air events.
7. Wynn Las Vegas
Often simply referred to as Wynn, Wynn Las Vegas is located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Wynn Resorts.
Built on 215 acres piece of land the hotel has a total of 4,748 rooms. This is in addition to over 190,000 sq. ft. of casino and over 1 million sq. ft. of convention centre.
Furthermore, there is 30, 000+ sq. ft. of retail space, spa and salon, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and beach clubs. Wynn Las Vegas is the 7th largest hotel in the world.
8. Barkhatnye Sezony Sportivny Kvartal
This is a massive complex of hotel buildings built back in 2014. The hotel was originally constructed to house Olympians in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Upon its completion, the hotel became the largest of its kind in the world with 8,500 guest rooms. However, the number of rooms was reduced by roughly half in 2018 when part of the hotel properties were sold.
Noteworthy, the Barkhatnye Sezony Sportivny Kvartal resembles a Moscow suburb residential area rather than a high-end holiday resort. Presumably, the developer wanted to make all rooms within the resort’s buildings affordable.
9. Mandalay Bay
Located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, Mandalay Bay is a 2 block luxury resort and casino complex.
One of the property’s blocks operates as the Delano (formerly known as THE Hotel). The other one on the other hand is occupied by Mandalay Bay and Four Seasons Hotel from the 35th to the 39th.
Owned by Vici Properties and operated by MGM Resorts International, Mandalay Bay has 3,209 hotel rooms, 24 elevators, and a casino of 135,000 square feet.
Adjacent to the hotel are the 2-million-square-foot Mandalay Bay Convention Center and the 12,000-seat Michelob Ultra Arena. The 43-story Delano Las Vegas on the other hand has 1,117 rooms. The entire Mandalay Bay resort complex thus has a total of 4,426 rooms.
It boasts an impressive pool area called Mandalay Bay Beach, complete with a wave pool and lazy river.

10. Luxor Las Vegas
Luxor Las Vegas is a hotel and casino comprising 30 storey iconic pyramid and twin 22-storey hotel towers.
The iconic pyramid first opened its doors in 1993 while the twin 22-storey hotel towers were added to the property in 1998. As a result, Luxor Las Vegas claim its position as the second-biggest hotel in Vegas at the time.
With a total of 4,407 rooms, the Luxor Las Vegas is currently the 5th largest hotel in the United States of America and the 10th in the entire world.
The hotel has a five-acre pool area with four pools, a whirlpool and 12 private cabanas. In addition, it has a 120,000-square-foot casino with over 2,000 slot machines and 87 table games.
