1. Gevora Hotel
Gevora Hotel is currently the tallest building in the world at a height of 356 meters.
The hotel is located along Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, UAE. It has a total of 528 rooms spread over 75 floors. The featured amenities include a number of facilities including restaurants and a pool on top of its parking garage building.

The four-star Gevora Hotel opened back in Feb 2018 after approximately twelve years of construction. The construction of the Al Attar Group-owned hotel cost USD $140 million.
2. JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel
Only a meter shorter than Gevora Hotel, JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel is the second largest hotel in the world.
The 72-storey, 355 meters twin-tower hotel is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its construction was completed back in 2012 at a cost of US$ 490 million. Following its completion, the hotel became the world’s tallest hotel surpassing the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana.
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai Hotel features a total of 1,608 rooms, a banquet hall, an auditorium, 18 Shops, 19 restaurants and a spa. It is owned by the Emirates Group.
3. Rose Rayhaan by Rotana
Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is also known as the Rose Tower. It is situated on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The hotel was developed by Bonyan International Investment Group. Its construction began back in 2004 and was completed 3 years later in 2007 at a cost of $180 million. The project design and build contractor was the Arabian Construction Co.
Rose Rayhaan by Rotana features two restaurants and a 24-hour coffee shop as well as 462 rooms, suites and penthouses. It is the 3rd tallest hotel in the world at a height of 333Â meters and 72-storeys.
4. The Burj Al ArabÂ
This is a luxury hotel located in the city of Dubai, UAE.
Developed and managed by the Jumeirah hotel group, the Burj Al Arab, was built by Murray & Roberts now Concor, and Al Habtoor Engineering between 1994 and 1999.
The 28 double-storey 5-star hotel has 202 suites, nine restaurants, a spa, a kids’ club, a private beach, three swimming pools and a helipad.
5. Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower
Also known as Emirates Tower Two, Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower is a 56-floor hotel in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The hotel is part of the two towers that make up the Emirates Towers complex. Although the complex’s smaller tower, Jumeirah Emirates Hotel Tower, is the fifth tallest hotel building in the world at a height of 309 meters.
The hotel includes a total of 40 luxury suites and is operated by the Jumeirah Group.
Between 2024 and 2026 the Gevora Hotel will lose its first and second position respectively following the completion of Ciel Tower and Naga 3 Tower A. Ciel Tower is currently under construction in the UAE while Naga 3 Tower A is under construction in Cambodia. The two hotel buildings are set to be completed in 2024 and 2026 respectively. Ciel Tower will be 366 meters tall while Naga 3 Tower A will be 358 meters tall.
