1. The Line
A cornerstone of NEOM’s blueprint, The Line promises to be a linear urban development stretching over 170 kilometres. As of October 2023, rapid construction progress is evident, with major roads and infrastructure already in place.

3. The advanced container terminal port
With a staggering investment of $2 billion, the port’s development is in full swing. The terminal that is already operational is set for a significant upgrade.
By 2025, the port will feature the first new advanced container terminal, signalling NEOM’s intentions of becoming a key player in global trade. Given its proximity to the Red Sea, which sees 13% of the world’s trade flow, this port is strategically positioned to facilitate trade across continents.
4. Green hydrogen plant
NEOM is erecting the world’s largest green hydrogen plant. This is in collaboration with the American company Air Products & Chemicals and Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power.
