FPI Pumps Inc. has been manufacturing Axial Flow Pumps since 1937. Formerly Farmers Manufacturing Company, FPI Pumps, Inc. (FPI) serves long term municipal, industrial and agricultural customers throughout North and South America.
FPI’s production facility is in Pompano Beach, Florida. They have a long- term dedicated production and engineering staff. Each of their key personnel possesses a minimum of 30 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and installing high quality Axial Flow pumps.
FPI produces Axial Flow Pumps from 8 inch to 72 inch diameter and from 2,000 GPM to 120,000 GPM and heads to 25 feet per stage. They design and manufacture their Axial Flow Pumps in a number of drive configurations utilizing Diesel Engine and Gear, Electric Motor, Submersible Electric Motor and Hydraulic Drive.
FPI axial flow large volume pumps are custom designed and engineered to obtain the most efficient operation for each installation and are regularly offered in sizes ranging from 8 inches through 72 inches and capacities of 1,000 gallons per minute to 120,000 gallons per minute in low and medium heads.
They also have a Portable Hydraulically Powered Axial Flow Submersible Pumping System. The Pump Head containing the impeller is hydraulically driven through a short internal shaft directly connected to a hydraulic motor. All sealed to operate trouble free under water and can be flanged to quickly connect to permanent or portable piping systems. A separate Hydraulic Power Unit powered by diesel motor can be skid or trailer mounted allowing for easy portability. The power units are connected to the pump heads using flexible hydraulic hoses allowing for quick set up and operation. These pumps do not need priming and can run dry without damage to components. This system has proven to be popular with municipalities and others, who may need to quickly set up pump stations without the large infrastructure costs.
Their unique Mobile Pump is a versatile and complete pump station on wheels. They are easily towed and ready to pump very high volumes of water within minutes of reaching a location. They require only one man for installation and operation. Lower the pump by powered winch into the water, unroll the flexible discharge hose and just start the Diesel Engine to begin pumping.
FPI engineering and sales staff is happy to be of assistance with your storm water pumping needs.
