Founded in 2006 in Italy, GFP Lab designs innovative solutions of access control, energy saving and room automation for the Hospitality market. GFP Lab is a pioneer of the Hotel automation as it has 20 years of experience in the market. Its products are 100% made in Italy and it has provided to more than 5000 rooms all over the world.
The company developed different solutions to better fit the customer requirements in terms of system installation, features and design. The basic solution is based on flush mount devices (access readers, room enablers and thermostats) that fit on standard wall boxes. The new top-level solution SenseDoor, fits on the door frame and provides both access control and energy saving features all-in-one. SenseDoor is small and elegant, it’s retrofit-ready, and it has customizable RGB lighting (also used to reporting room states to the staff). Both solutions can be expanded with wireless and battery free sensors and actuators (thanks to EnOcean technology).
The core of GFP Lab solutions is Giano, its very intuitive and modular supervisor software. Its architecture is client-server and multi-user. Giano has been already translated in 7 languages, it runs on both Windows and Mac platforms and it can be interfaced with PMS and centralized air conditioning systems.
GFP Lab is always looking for technical and commercial partners worldwide to establish a strong and durable relationship. Its partners are mainly architects/designers, system integrators and door manufacturers. GFP Lab helps its partners to better understand and fulfill the customer’s needs to offer the most competitive and elegant solutions and make every market more profitable.
Tommaso Sofi, Export Manager at GFP advices buyers to avoid choosing electric locks but to consider the benefits of saving energy and the security of online systems for their buildings. He concludes and says that they are looking to expand their market and are seeking for distributors in Africa who are technically skilled.
