&Beyond Mnemba Island luxury lodge will undergo upgrading. The plans to renovate the lodge located in Zanzibar will last from the month of January to October in the year 2024. Renovation works of redesigning the main areas of the lodge are set to provide the opportunity for guests who will be able to enjoy additional areas that will enable them to socialize or be able to get privacy from the secluded corners set.
&Beyond and its partners Fox Browne Creative and Nicholas Plewman Architects will redesign the lodge in order to add a touch of elegance. Deeply based on the culture of Zanzibar, the brand-new design is foreseen to breathe new life into the lodge. Acquiring its inspirations from nature, the brand new renovation design will show the form of the nautilus shell whereas the interiors will still retain the existing natural color palette.

&Beyond Mnemba Island Luxury Lodge Facilities to be Added
The current bar that is in place will be expanded into a juice and coffee bar. There will be an added mezzanine level to the dining area which will enable the provision of a private space for dining, while the brand-new design elements will provide additional dining spaces that will be enclosed in case there will be inclement weather. Moreover, there will be an establishment of 12 new beach lodges which will provide extra space for comfort, each set up in a new design that will uphold the feeling of being open to nature and still providing privacy. Each of the lodges will have a couple of entrances, one will be paving way directly from the beach while the other will be from the interior forest of the island. Moreover, there will be setting up of a brand-new family lodge which will contain a complete suite with a quite small interleading room and bathroom to carter for individuals that will be travelling with kids.
Lastly, there will be an establishment of a couple of treatment rooms and a yoga deck. The Healing Earth wellness treatments will be supplied with a wide range of therapies that will be inclusive of reiki, a sound bath, singing bowls, and meditation. A new Dive Centre will also be expanded in order to offer the opportunity for more activities to be conducted on the island. Some of the activities on the &Beyond Mnemba Island luxury lodge will include kayaking, catch-and-release fishing, and hydrofoil bikes.
