Ronald Ngala Utalii College has been under construction for a period of more than a decade and will be soon complete to admit its first lot of students in the coming few months. The Cabinet Secretary in carge of Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife in Kenya was on a tour on the upcoming institution in order to assess the construction progress. According to Mutua, they were very hopeful that the construction of the institution would be complete next year and they would allocate qualified students at the institution.
The Cabinet Secretary stated that they had given a directive to the contractors in charge of the Ronald Ngala Utalii College construction project that they complete setting up the dining hall, student class blocks, administration buildings, a social all and a couple of student accommodation blocks to facilitate the admission of the first lot of students.

Other facilities that will be at the Ronald Ngala Utalii College learning institution are: a sports stadium, headquarters for the staff members, additional hostels and a small number of buildings that will not be quite essential will be built when the construction of the college is complete and operational.
The Cabinet Secretary also pointed out that they had reached an agreement with the contractor of is in charge of the Ronald Ngala Utalii College project which entails that in order to keep up with the developing economies of the likes of Dubai and Singapore, the construction works of the project will be conducted 24 hours a day for seven days of a week in order to speed up the completion of the project and deliver it the fastest time possible as scheduled.
Lastly Mutua stated that they were hoping to complete the first phase of the project in March of the year 2024 and commence its operations right away
