The mega Upgrade Of KEZAD Al Ma’mourah has officially begun across its 288,000 square meters area. KEZAD (Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi Group made the project’s announcement, also mentioning that it will include the planting of 350 trees of various species. Moreover, the integrated trade, logistics, and industrial hub of Abu Dhabi said that planting of trees will be along the roads, over an area of 120,000 square meters.

Taking it a step further, the project will also incorporate the construction of irrigation pumping stations. In addition to water tanks that will have a connection to the KEZAD wastewater treatment plant. As a whole, the enhancements strive to improve the facilitation of goods and generally improve the flow of traffic. Additionally, the project targets to elevate and beautify the area.

In a nutshell, KEZAD Group is recognized as UAE’s largest operator of economic zones that are fully integrated. Moreover, KEZAD specializes in industrial real estate solutions, staff accommodation, and business services. The group boasts 12 economic zones that are located in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain.

Total Cost Of The Upgrade Of KEZAD Al Ma’mourah

In total, the Upgrade Of KEZAD Al Ma’mourah reportedly cost AED 42 million ($11 million), with completion set for Q3 2024. Its main works will feature the landscaping of 24 kilometers of roads as well as roundabouts in the area. An official statement further noted that the development’s upgrade is in coordination with relevant government agencies, including the Abu Dhabi Municipality and integrated Transport Centre. Additionally, KEZAD’s development execution adheres to the best global practices, specifications, and standards.

The CEO of KEZAD Group said that it aims to continually improve the overall client business experience. Furthermore, the development’s upgrade targets to help maintain Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional industrial and economic hub. Mohamed AL Khadar also said that the elevation of KEZAD Al Ma’mourah’s road network system will contribute to a more efficiently connected economic zone.
