Nordex, the German wind turbine supplier, has recently secured a substantial order for 56 MW of wind turbines designated for the Visoka wind farm in Croatia. The collaboration involves ENCRO, Croatia’s largest wind farm developer and operator, and Adris Grupa, a prominent independent investment company. The order, inclusive of premium services, signifies a joint commitment to sustainability and marks Adris Grupa’s inaugural entry into the energy sector.
The order includes eight machines from the Delta4000 series, specifically the N163/6.X model, scheduled for delivery and installation near Sinj, southern Croatia, with operations set to commence by the end of 2024. Nordex will provide premium services for these turbines over a 30-year period, ensuring optimal performance and high availability throughout their service life.
This collaboration between ENCRO and Adris Grupa at the Visoka wind farm project aligns with ENCRO’s strategy to expand Croatia’s renewable energy generation capacity and represents Adris Grupa’s strategic move into the energy sector. Branimir Ivkovic, Head of Business Development Wind at ENCRO, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Thanks to the close collaboration with our partner Adris Grupa, we look forward to building upon our first joint PV and wind investments in Croatia, with a combined connected capacity of 122.3 MW and an installed capacity of 141.8 MW.”
