Following the completion of its construction, Dubai Islands Beach has finally opened its doors to the public. The new family-oriented beach is near the Deira waterfront and in close proximity to the Centara Mirage Beach Resort and Hotel Riu in Dubai. It can be accessed through both water and road, while yacht or boat owners can park their vessels at the Nakheel Marina Dubai Islands.
In 2022 the Dubai Municipality stated that the revamping of the region’s public beaches would be complete soon. The Director General of Dubai Municipality noted that particular attention is been given to the quality maintenance of beaches. Especially, since they play a significant role in the tourist industry.
Dawoud Al Hajri further said that the project is a representation of efforts toward the preservation of the elegant and aesthetic appearance of Dubai’s facilities.

Right along the pristine shoreline, the beach will be open from sunrise to sunset. Moreover, it offers beachgoers access to play beach football and volleyball. In addition to being able to get into the water on a kayak or a paddleboard.
Alongside Blue Safari, water sports enthusiasts will be able to participate in a variety of non-motorized water activities. According to a report, the Dubai Islands Beach Project further plans to feature numerous beverage and food venues on the waterfront by the end of the year.
As a whole, the Dubai Islands Beach included covering the beach with additional beach sand. Furthermore, the rehabilitation works also included carrying out breakwater structures as well as other works geared towards protecting the beach from erosion due to strong waves.
As a whole, it strives to serve as a family-friendly development. Taking it a step further, it is the very first to allow dogs.
