A new expansion is taking place in the master planned community, Wendell Falls located in eastern Wake County. There are two additions being planned; a multifamily community with hundreds of apartments and the first ever build for rent homes in the community. The development partners have finalized deals with Chaucer Creek Capital LLC for the multifamily section and Abode Communities of Edgewater Ventures for the build for rent section. These new living spaces including both apartments and town homes will be situated along Wendell Valley Boulevard in the part of Wendell Falls.
Wendell Falls: The multifamily section
Chaucer Creek Capital plans to construct 376 apartments, in four story buildings equipped with elevators. The construction is scheduled to commence in 2024 and is expected to be completed by late 2026.
The residents of these apartments will have access to amenities, including a clubhouse with a business center and fitness facility a swimming pool, pickleball courts, a dog park and beautiful courtyards.
These apartments are part of The Collective, which serves as the phase of development within the community. Located north of Treelight Square, The Collective features establishments such as a grocery store along with popular options like Starbucks (Nasdaq; SBUX) and McDonalds (NYSE; MCD).
The Collective aims to offer an array of boutiques, restaurants, lifestyle services, technical facilities and medical resources, alongside its community.

Wendell Falls: Build for rent section
Abode Communities plans to build a total of 170 town homes. Among them, 135 will have two car garages while the remaining 35 will feature single car garages. The town homes will offer amenities such, as a clubhouse, swimming pool, fitness center, dog park and walking paths.
The construction of these town homes is scheduled to commence in the summer of 2024.
