Developer unveils design for 69-story tower with 500 apartments in Brickell

Lore Development has unveiled its innovative design for a 69-story apartment tower, Summit Brickell, located in the heart of Miami’s bustling Brickell neighborhood. Spearheaded by a partnership between Miami-based Leste Group and Brazil’s Opportunity Fundo de Investimento Imobiliário, the project, named Summit Miami, was initially announced in June. Lore Development secured the expansive 2,770-square-foot site at 1015 S.W. First Avenue and 88 S.W. 10th St. through an agreement with GW Brickell LLC, sealing the deal at $35 million.

Acknowledging the strategic significance of the new 69-story apartment tower in Brickell location, Lore Development has recently submitted a pre-application to Miami-Dade County authorities. This move stems from the site’s inclusion in the newly expanded Rapid Transit Zone and its adjacency to the bustling Brickell Metrorail Station, a key player in the county’s mass transit system.

The new 69-story apartment tower in Brickell, Summit Brickell will comprise 500 apartments, along with 2,174 square feet of commercial space and a parking facility for 480 vehicles. Notably, the inclusion of 96 electric vehicle charging spaces reflects the developer’s commitment to sustainability. The reduced parking allocation aligns with the requirements of the Rapid Transit Zone.

The 13th floor will host a sprawling 6,154-square-foot amenity deck, complete with indoor features and a jogging track. The roof deck will add another layer of allure, offering 3,553 square feet of indoor amenities and a refreshing pool. This meticulously designed space, conceptualized by Jorge Rucas, Lore’s director of development, is set to provide a seamless blend of fitness and business facilities for residents.

Jorge Rucas revealed that Lore Development is aiming for Summit Brickell’s completion by the close of 2027. Diverse living options await within Summit Brickell, spanning from cozy 496-square-foot studios to expansive three-bedroom residences totaling 1,426 square feet. Beginning from the 14th floor, the living units promise panoramic vistas of the surrounding cityscape.

Describing the project as an “architectural work of art,” Lore Development envisions the new 69-story tower in Brickell, Summit Brickell to redefine Miami’s vibrant Brickell neighborhood skyline with its innovative urban uses. The contemporary design, characterized by dynamic volumes and graceful curved corners, harmonizes seamlessly with the existing urban landscape.

Crafted by Miami’s esteemed Corwil Architects, the design embodies sophistication, while legal representation in the application process is handled by local attorney Jorge Navarro of Greenberg Traurig.
