Construction recently commenced on Lake Pointe, a multifamily housing development in Woodbridge, Virginia. NRP Group, a renowned manager of multifamily housing partnered with leading real estate investor Angelo Gordon on the project. It’s their second housing development collaboration, which will transform a 15-acre parcel into a market rate apartment community in Woodbridge.

The location of the Lake Pointe community will be in Prince William County, just twenty miles south of Washington D.C. Therefore, it offers access to the Parkway exit on Interstate 95, a known commute route for major employers in the region.

Furthermore, residents will enjoy access to a variety of  dining and retail options at the nearby Potomac Mills. Kaiser Permanente, a new medical center, is also situated within walking distance of the community. A commuter parking area capable of holding 2,300 vehicles will be adjacent the property as well.

Number of units at the Lake Pointe community

Upon completion the Lake Pointe community will feature 355 units spread across ten buildings. Five of which will stand at a height of four stories, while the other five will be five stories high. The developers claim the community will provide world class housing aimed at meeting the needs of today’s residents. Therefore, all apartments will have stylish living design options for residents seeking comfortable and convenient homes within Greater Washington.

Lake Pointe will boast of several modern amenities suitable for its prime location. Additionally, the developers also incorporated a design which tackles the demands of post pandemic trends. As result, the apartments will have larger floor plans with dens and work from home facilities adequately installed. The property will feature  a standard fitness center, a luxury swimming pool, spa and a dog park as well. It also offers residents  access to on site private communication facilities and a parking garage.

Santander bank provided the construction loan for the Lake Pointe community project. The developers are hoping to deliver the first set of units in 2025. Tenants for Lake Pointe will mostly include employees from U.S Army Fort Belvoir and Marine Corps Base Quantico. Especially since the property’s position is in the middle of these mission critical facilities.Â
