Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and NCH ceremoniously broke ground for the new Orthopedic Center in Southwest Florida. This collaborative initiative, marked by the commencement of construction, signifies a transformative step forward in advancing orthopedic care in Naples and the broader Southwest Florida region.

The groundbreaking ceremony not only marks the inception of a state-of-the-art facility on the NCH North Naples Hospital campus, spanning over 80,000 square feet, but also heralds the beginning of a new era in healthcare for the community. The Orthopedic Center of Excellence, a joint effort between HSS and NCH, is poised to redefine orthopedic services, encompassing both outpatient and inpatient care. The center will house an ambulatory surgery center and collaboratively operated imaging and rehabilitation services.

What’s the New Orthopedic Center’s expected completion date?

The $130 million center is anticipated to be completed within a two-year timeframe, with plans for an opening in early 2025. The ownership of the orthopedic center will be a collaborative venture between NCH and HSS.
