We are involved in much more than only the creation of jobs, financial investment, and clean, renewable energy. With community members, property owners, and civic leaders, we work to develop long-lasting relationships. We at Oak Trail Solar are dedicated to fulfilling that goal while also preserving and safeguarding the environment.

How many jobs the Oak Trail Solar project opened up

At its busiest, Oak Trail Solar employed about 300 people. Further, it will give Currituck County long-term renewable energy jobs and substantial property tax payments. Thirty per cent of the project’s acreage will be covered in native plants and wildflowers. This is part of LRE’s commitment to good land stewardship. Furthermore, these plants will be used for pollinator habitat, screening, and other ecological advantages.

According to Josh Bass, president of the Currituck Chamber of Commerce, “Currituck County is excited to have a renewable energy project like Oak Trail Solar in our community.” “The initiative supports funding for vital services that keep our community strong and helps us in a number of ways. We anticipate a long-lasting and mutually beneficial engagement with Oak Trail Solar. LRE’s teamwork and values have fostered positive ties throughout Currituck County.
