Timeline for the Turning Stone Resort expansion

Oneida Indian Nation is collaborating with Gensler, a world-renowned architecture and design firm on the Turning Stone  expansion project. The developer will break ground on the project by early 2024 and plans to complete it in two years. This massive expansion will double the square footage of the existing conference space on the property. As a result, new indoor and outdoor event spaces will be added to expand the conference center.

Upon completion, Turning Stone’s conference center will feature eight new meeting rooms, with many of them having outdoor patios. It will also have two new ballrooms, including a 30,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom with a terrace overlooking the Shenendoah Golf Course. Furthermore, a courtyard will be included for outdoor activities along with three new events spaces and an indoor parking garage.

The Turning Stone  expansion  also covers  construction on a new Four-Diamond hotel referred to as the Crescent. The developer has included this hotel project in order to cater for an increase in conference and event guests.  Crescent will offer 258 rooms as well as 23 spacious one and two bedroom suites for an elevated experience. Additionally, guests will have access to a  lobby,  fireplace, lounge seating area, cafe and VIP lounge.
