The construction works of the long awaited Jangwani Bridge Project in Tanzania are set to commence in Dar es Salaam. This comes after Tanzania’s government signed a contract worth $35 million with a Chinese company that will foresee the implementation of this bridge project.
This upcoming bridge project has an aim of addressing the challenges that are usually encountered at the Jangwani area. The challenges are usually brought about as a result of heavy rains. This usually leads to closing of the Morogoro Road which is usually a very crucial link to the city center. As a result, this usually results to significant inconveniences to the road users.
