RE: CALL FOR TRAINING OF ENGINEERS ON STRUCTURAL EUROCODES
Following the major shift from use of British Standards and Codes of Practice widely used in structural engineering to adoption of Structural Eurocodes in Kenya, training of engineers on the has been going on virtually due to the Covid 19 situation. However, for effective delivery of the training including one to one interaction, the National Implementation Committee on Eurocodes with the secretariat,the Kenya Bureau of Standards, has planned for physical Structural Eurocodes training in Machakos. The aim of the training is to equip engineers to adequately design using Eurocode. The training will cover all the stages of design including Loading, Analysis and Design.
The schedule of the training is as shown below:
