Donald Trump, through the former US President’s family business, has officially signed a $1.6 billion deal for the development of the Aida Resort project with Dar Al ArkanThe deal is reportedly the first of its kind, especially since the former president left office.

As per the agreement, the Trump Organization which is a group of 500 business entities with Donald Trump as the principal owner, will license its name to Dar Al Arkan for the project.

Through an official statement, the Organization said it is an honor to work with a developer that shares their vision that is based upon excellence and superior quality, the statement noted.

An overview of the Golf Resort project 

Aida Resort is set to be developed on a total area of 3.5 million square meters located right next to Muscat on a hillside that is adjacent to the Sea of Oman in the Yiti area.

The resort aims to offer residents as well as visitors, a place of wonder, serenity, and exploration. It will therefore integrate world-class hospitality and luxury living to the highest of standards.

It will feature two hotels that will include a total number of 450 rooms. Additionally, Aida Resort will have approximately 3,500 homes. The homes will feature unique hanging suites, that are considered to be Aida’s ‘hidden pearl’. The hanging suites will include a private pool.

In addition to the hotel and residential features, the Aida Resort will have a golf complex.
